Office Hours the School Secretary is available in the main office from 8:30-12:00 and 1:00 – 4:00. The principal is available in the office from 8:15 – 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 – 4:00 p.m.

Supervision is provided

10:30 - 10:45 a.m. (playground) 
12:00-12:45 p.m. (classroom, hallways, playground)
2:05 - 2:20 p.m. (playground)  
3:20 - 3:25 (buses)

Doors to the school open at 8:40 A.M.  Students are asked not to arrive before this time. Town students and non-bus students are expected to go directly home after dismissal at 3:30. Once they have gone home and entered their home they may return to play on the playground.  There is no supervision provided on the playground after 3:30.

SCC MEMBERS:

The SCC meets eight times per year (September, October, November, January, February, March, April, May) in the Library of Robert Melrose Elementary School.  The AGM is held in January of each year, where elections take place.  Members serve a two-year term.

At the monthly meetings, open to all parents, the SCC meets to makes decisions about RMES activities and related expenditures.  The principal and one teacher from Robert Melrose Elementary attend every meeting to talk about school activities, curriculum, events and concerns.
